Details Two handful of leaves of Thuthi (Abutilon indicum (Linn.)), Poovarasu (Thespesia populnea (L.) Sol. ex Corrêa) and cumin (50 gm) are ground well and administered once. Polyphenolic content of Abutilon indicum has antibacterial property (Abdul et al, (2010): International Journal of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemical, 2(1):1-4.
