Diarrhoea and dysentery
A newborn calf had an onset of yellow diarrhoea. It was the first calf of the mother and she was nervous about getting milked. In this confusion the calf drank too much and had diarrhoea. Six dosages of Aconite (6C) 1-1/2 hours apart completely cured the calf. This medicine is also used for treating shocks. Arsenic Alb200 C works well for watery diarrhoea in five doses at an interval of two hours. Blood dysentery is cured by Mercurius Cor 200C administered four times a day. |
