SRISTI Galactagogue in wide use

Based on the knowledge of the grassroots innovators, a herbal milk enhancer, “SRISTI Galactagogue,” has been developed. It was found effective in trials across various dairies and currently being used across India.
There are 260 milk-enhancing practices recorded from 98 taluks of Gujarat. In all, 124 different ingredients were used for enhancing milk production either alone or in combination. Community representatives Maniben Revabhai Patel, Manguben Kanjibhai Vaghela, Balbabhai Meghrajbhai Patel, Ratanben Lakshmanbhai Masani, Hareshbhai Devjibhai Rohit and Chaturiben Prakashbhai Makwana among others have shared their views on this subject.
