Details The curiosity of children and their intriguing ways of interpreting the world around us can sometimes reveal interesting insights about the way we can think creatively. As we grow, the child in us stops asking questions and in fact, the child grows faster than us. There was a little girl who was very joyful. Once, the angels saw her playing with great abandon and thought of talking to her. When the angels went to her, they found that the little girl did not pay attention to them initially. They told the girl that the God had observed her to be a joyful child. They asked her if she would like to come to the heaven. The little girl thought for a while. “I don’t mind coming to the heaven, provided I have the devil to play with,” she said. (This kind of mischievious exuberance is something we lose as we grow older. We have met many children, whose curiosity and creativity baffle us. We would like to hear from the readers about ways in which they have kept the child within each one of them alive and kicking. After all, aren't children almost always more creative than us, the adults ? : Ed) (This dialogue is adotped from W M Dixon, The Human Situation, London: Edward Arnold, 1937)
