It was a pleasure to meet you at the Innovation Council meeting today; I am delighted to have finally met you and to explore the possibilities of collaboration between SFAC and NIF.
As agreed at the meeting, we will draw upon your databank of agricultural innovations, duly vetted and translated into regional languages, and connect the same to KRISHIDOOT- our mobile based farmer advisory service/farm portal for farmer producer organisations (FPOs) under development.
The SRISTI database of Honey Bee published practices will need to be translated into different languages. If you wish SRISTI can get it done at your cost or you can do it yourself. Kindly see the innovation database button at sristi.org and check the details. You have to also ensure that that these ideas need to be seen not only at artefactual level but also at metaphorical and heuristic level. –Ed.

I have befriended an American in Uganda who has left the comforts of home to volunteer his technical expertise to those on the ground. We can probably get an app built and for free with his network of other technically minded people who are looking to similarly volunteer their capabilities. But maybe there are other things you might want to do, but never were able to because you were constrained for one reason or another.
I want to make sure you understand that though this individual has their own concern in Africa, the initial request to him is whether we could do something for you.

I saw the video by Prof. Anil K Gupta in TED. We at Volvo India plan to set up our very own Innovation Lab facility and I think showcasing products like these would be really inspiring to our engineers. We would like to purchase a few of the products if possible. Please do let us know if this is possible and the way forward.
A very interesting idea to build bridges between the formal and informal sectors. Who knows who benefits how much, but that both will benefit is beyond doubt. Let us get started soonest -Ed.
