Title Controlling intestinal worms facilitates conception

Abstract Poor nutritional availability to animals due to endoparasitism is major cause for anoestrus in animals. Neem has proven anthelmintic properties and Aloe vera is well reported for its estrus inducing properties thereby promoting fertility of animals (Matlebyane et al., (2010): Livestock Research for Rural Development, 22, Article #54, http://www.lrrd.org/lrrd22/3/matl22054.htm downloaded on February 11, 2011.. Also see, Honey Bee, 19(3), 17, 2008.

Details The animal is treated for controlling intestinal worms by administering 200 ml of neem oil and four to five lemon fruits orally. In addition, aloe vera is also fed to the affected animal on empty stomach, first thing in the morning continuously for three days. This helps animals also to overcome anoestrus and conceive.
