| Details |
About 250 g of bhuinnimba (Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f.) Wall. ex Nees) branches are ground and made into a paste. This is diluted in five litres of water and sprayed over the crop. Around two-three sprays are required in a month. This spray not only controls the pests but also nourishes the plants thus increasing the yield considerably. Priyabrata has been using this method for the last ten years with good results.
