For controlling leaf eating insects in Mango, about 100 ml juice extracted from the leaves of adhusa (Adhathoda vasica L.) is mixed with 100 ml castor oil and 15 litres of water and sprayed on the plants. One spray is effective for seven days. It is repeated when the insects reappear (Ramanbhai Bavabhai Patel, Chikhli, Navsari)10.
