Details 23227 Fever in animalsCombination of Leucas cephalotes (Roth) Spreng. (Guma), Azadirachta indica (A) Juss. (Neem), Ficus religiosa L. (Pipal) and table salt for management and cure of fever Akal Sahani prepares his formulation by taking two whole plants of Leucas cephalotes, 50 g of shade-dried leaves of A. indica (neem) and F. religiosa (peepal). He crushes each ingredient, along with table salt, to get a fine powder. Then, he boils the powder in one litre of water till it becomes half of its original quantity. The preparation is then filtered and cooled. About 200 ml of this formulation is to be fed twice a day, for three days, to affected animals. He applies the paste on the whole body of animals and washes it off an hour later. He applies the preparation twice daily on the affected area of the animals for seven days.
