| Abstract |
When Mrs. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, the President of India hosted an exhibition of primarily grassroots innovation at Mughal Garden President's house (March 10-14, 2010), a history was created. Probably she is the first head of the state anywhere in the world to host such an exhibition. Her clear message to the country about her declaration of this coming decade as the Decade of Innovation was that innovations matter and creativity of common people matters the most.
