Title Kaner to Treat Yoke gall
 
Abstract erium oleander L. is reported to cure inflammation and skin bruising (Zargari. (1992); Medicinal plants, 3(5): 889). Decoction of kaner leaves is used to destroy maggots infesting wounds. Details Payarchand uses kaner (Nerium oleander L.) for treating yoke gall. Yoke galls get formed by the constant rubbing of heavy wooden yoke against the animal’s neck and shoulders. Galls pain and get infected too. He applies the decoction of kaner leaves and bark topically on gall two times a day for two to three days.
