Natchimuthu is a traditional healer. To cure bloat in cattle, he gives a mixture of extracts of 50 g of karu umathai (Datura metel L.) extract, 50 g vasambu (Acorus calamus L.) and 50 g roots of amukkira (Withania somnifera (L.) Dunal) to the ailing animal. |
