The dust-holding tray is a wide transparent plastic tray fixed in drill shell that can hold dust. It can be attached to the percussive drill or electric hammer. When drilling on the wall, the dust-holding tray/box can be attached to the wall by an extension tube and spring so that most of dust will fall in the box. It will protect the wall from damage and also decrease dust in air. The use of transparent material facilitates observation. The device can save eyes from dust especially when drilling holes in the roof.

The repulsive principle of permanent magnet is used in the magnetic suspension shock absorber. The repulsion between two magnets can counteract the shock. It needs no hydraulic pressure oil, bolts or springs, and therefore can work silently and continously.

The automatic gas timing-valve
After using the gas, if the burner is not turned off properly, it can prove very dangerous. An automatic gas timing-valve can be attached in the switching device. This valve can cut off the gas automatically according to the regular time set up by the user, and the accidents can be prevented.
Multifunctional mobile phone alarm
Fire prevention and the protection against theft are very important to every family. Although very advanced alarm systems are in place, connecting them to a mobile phone will result in a safer and more efficient device.
With the help of an infrared ray induced probe on the gate, a voice will be announced “the host is out, please call him/her” in the owners’ absence. At the same time, a camera will picture the visitor. If the person tries to break into the house, the alarm system will warn him and a warning message and the picture of the visitor will be sent to the host’s mobile phone and the nearest police office immediately. It is difficult to write on a rough surface using a conventional pen. The pen designed by Mr Wang XiYun is meant to write even on rough surfaces. It is made of three parts: the push pole, the injector and the nib. When the pole is pushed, the ink contained in the injector will be pressed out from the nib. The flux is much bigger than common pens, so it can be used to write on rough surfaces efficiently.
Timing mosquito-repellent coils
It’s a big waste to burn the mosquito-repellent incense over night in summer, when mosquitoes need to be repelled only for a part of the night. To prevent this, a metal pin can be affixed on the mosquito-repellent coil. When the coil burns to the position of the metal pin, further burning of the coil is prevented. The burning time of the coil can be controlled by changing the position of the metal pin.
Avoid the turning over of umbrellas in heavy winds
When we open an umbrella on a windy day, there is a great chance of the umbrella getting turned over by the heavy winds. So the innovator has added some ropes to tighten the surface of umbrella and it works well. After the modifications, over turning of umbrella in heavy winds can be reduced to a considerable extent.

It is not very uncommon to find one’s shoes stinking because of perspiration and putrefaction of leather or socks in the evening. Wei, a brilliant student of class 12 in Tianjin faced this problem himself. He was quite fond of ping pong, which he started playing at the age of six. After lot of practice in the day, his shoes became wet due to sweat and left an uncomfortable feeling. This feeling was not unique to him. Millions of people from around the world have suffered from this stink. But, Wei, the Vice Chairperson of Writers’ Association of School Students and Chairperson of the Association of Student Innovators did not stop at feeling uncomfortable. He thought of inventing “bactericidal shoe hanging machine”.
This machine essentially has a filter having active carbon, exhaust fan, air heater, ultra violet rays’ emitter, etc. When the shoes are put on the hooks in the shoe hanging machine, the ultra violet rays and hot air start freshening the shoe and the dampness as well as the odour is removed. The shoes become fresh.
Belonging to the low income group, his father could not afford to buy lot of new gadgets for Wei. He did what seemed most natural; invent his own toys and gadgets. Wei is not just an innovator. He is also fond of photography, ping pong, shooting, swimming, fishing, horse riding, skating, etc. He has won ten innovation awards in addition to several awards for his writings at local and national level. Wei zhi chuan is truly a creative genius from whom we expect years of creative inventions ahead.
