| Details |
To provide relief to the cattle from muscle pain, Revabhai suggests that 250 gm of ‘Adusi’ (Adhatoda vasica Nees) is boiled with two liter of water. About100 gm of this extract is then fed to the animal twice a day for 5-6 days. The animal should also be served 250-300 gm of jaggery with the extract and bathed with warm water to provide relief.
The plant Adhatoda vasica is employed for curing rheumatism (Hamayun et al., 2006) and well reported for its property to reduce inflammation (Chakraborty and Brantner, 2001). |
