Dr. Punniamurthy treats nasal swellings in cattle with Mayhont (Mimosa pudica). He also feeds turkeys a mixture of crushed leaves of Black Catnip (Phyllanthus niruri) and cumin to control white color diarrhea.
(Mimosa pudica has been reported for its anti-inflammatory activity (Panthong et al.,1986) and use in skin inflammation (Macfoy and Sama ,1983). The plant was reported for antipyretic activity (Singh ,1986).
