If an animal is not fed properly or does not drink water at all, it is attacked by micro organism.The animal becomes thin and there is some discharge from its mouth. To treat this disease take ‘kollan kovai kilangu’ (Corralocarpus epigaeus (Roettl.) CB CI.), root of ‘aaduthinnapalai kodi’ (Aristolochia bracteolata Lam.) and turmeric (Curcuma longa L.). Ground all the three and prepare a bolus to be given to the animal. Desired results are seen when this
bolus is given to the animal for consecutive three days on empty stomach. |
