Title |
Healing Broken Horn |
|
|
Details |
If an animal has broken any of its horns, Nachimuthu advises a proven traditional cure. A handful of ‘kara thalai’ (Aloe vera L.) is put in the ‘palmyra leaves’ (Borassus flabellifer L.) and cooked. ‘ragi’ (Eleusine coracana (L.) Gaertn.) flour is mixed in the mixture and a paste is made out of it. Putting the paste in a clean cloth and bandaging it around the broken horn is known to have helped in rejoining broken horns.
(To treat broken horn in an animal, apply a paste made of ‘dudheli’ (Pergularia daemia (Forsk.) Chiov.) on the horn. This stops bleeding. (Source: http://www.nif.org.in/Bone_Setter ). |
