Details |
There is a shrub locally known in Orissa as “Arakha” ( Calotropis sps) that grows everywhere and still revered. The flowers of this plant have religious significance. Lord Ganesh is worshiped with these flowers. When one plucks the leaf of a white Arakha plant, milk oozes out. This milk is very useful. Villagers put few drops of Arakha milk on the toes of their feet to treat headaches. If there is headache on the right side of the head, put a drop or two on the toes of feet on the left leg, and vice versa. |
