Title Organic Techniques for Cumin

Details Jayantibhai sowed his cumin seed crop in the winter of the year 2001. The crop was twice irrigated for better yield. It was first irrigated after a maturity period of 25 days and the second irrigation followed after a period of 45 days. At this stage of maturity, cumin is severely damaged by a disease called charmi (blight). In addition to this, sucking pests and black aphids are a great nuisance. Jayantibhai has a few spray treatments for controlling pest and disease.
