Organic Techniques for Cumin |

Details |
Jayantibhai sowed his cumin seed crop in the winter of the year 2001. The crop was twice irrigated for better yield. It was first irrigated after a maturity period of 25 days and the second irrigation followed after a period of 45 days. At this stage of maturity, cumin is severely damaged by a disease called charmi (blight). In addition to this, sucking pests and black aphids are a great nuisance. Jayantibhai has a few spray treatments for controlling pest and disease. |
